Sometimes when she�s in the shower, she imagines his hands on her thighs, his
chest pressed against her back, and his mouth trailing down her throat. She
knows he isn't really there, but she pushes the thought aside and tilts her head
back to give him better access.
She knows it�s wrong. Falling for your best friends father sounds like a bad B
movie, but it�s real for her. She wonders what Sam would do if she found out.
She wonders how Jacob would react if he knew, and if he even feels the same way.
Sometimes she imagines giving into her desire, pulling him aside and telling
all, but she�s more cautious than she used to be, her former marriage taught her
to tread carefully and she has Cassie to think of now.
But when the hot spray pounds against her body, she forgets her dilemmas. As her
hands slide down her body, she forgets her responsibilities, and all she thinks
about is Jacob.
